Our home is a new, modern design, one bedroom apartment on the first floor, centrally located in Amsterdam. It has an ensuite bathroom (with separate bath and shower) and separate toilet, kitchen boasts all the mod cons. The entire apartment is equipped with heated flooring. The bedroom has a large balcony with French doors, there is also a French balcony in the front which overlooks the Amstelriver. Very comfortable!!

Our neighbourhood is safe and quiet, with a great Portugese restaurant and a typically Dutch café around the corner, with terraces overlooking the Amstelriver. The banks of the river are used for jogging, cycling, walking. Some beautiful houseboats line the banks as well. Great views during the Spring and (late) Summer. There is a supermarket nearby and at 5 minute walking distance a trainstation from which buses, trams, subway and trains leave, taking you everywhere you want to go! Our neighbourhood is adjacent to one of Amsterdams most popular areas; De Pijp, with great cafés, restaurants, Albert Cuypstreetmarket (daily) and shops. City center is 5 minutes away by public transport. Walking along the banks of the Amstel river it takes about 15 minutes. But riding a bike is by far the most ideal way of discovering Amsterdam.
The city is centrally located in Europe; it's easy to visit other major European cities from here. Daily trains leave to Antwerp, Paris, Berlin etc etc.
