Come stay in our beautiful new beach home in the waterfront development of Qualicum Landing. Experience this luxurious 1500 sq. ft. home and the fabulous amenities and activities the area has to offer.
Wake up to the sound of the sea and go for a stroll on the 500 feet of walk on waterfront minutes from your doorstep – watch the sea lions playing in the bay and the eagles soaring above. Come back and enjoy your breakfast on the patio. Maybe if you’re feeling energetic, a round of golf at one of the many nearby golf courses or perhaps a game of tennis at our onsite tennis court (ready sometime in 2012). After you’ve worked up a sweat, join your neighbours in the oversized patio pool steps from our home. Read your book and relax or head out for an afternoon of exploring nearby Coombs Country Market and see the famous “goats on the roof”, or poke around the quaint town of Qualicum. Perhaps you’d like to go horseback riding or fishing or kayaking. If you’re enjoying a winter getaway, Mt. Washington boasts fantastic conditions and is only an hour’s drive up island! While you’re out, visit one of the local fishing docks to pick up your dinner if you didn’t manage to catch your own! After cooking up a feast on the gas barbecue provided, take your beach towel and your nightcap and head over to one of the two outdoor hot tubs. You’ve earned the soak and it will relax you so you can come back home to play a game or two of scrabble or dominos with the family or take your marshmallows and cocoa down to the firepit on the beach to wind up the day. At Qualicum Landing, the possibilities are endless.
Our home has 3 bedrooms: Master bedroom upstairs with king bed; twin over double bed upstairs and Queen sized bed on main floor. There is a full bathroom upstairs and full bath with shower only downstairs. A large counter height table in dining room seats 8 and 4 more stools at the breakfast bar. We've tried to think of everything for you to enjoy your stay, right down to some games and puzzles for that treasured quality time with your family.

We absolutely love our little piece of paradise. We are about 50 minutes north of Nanaimo (ferry and airport) and 40 minutes south of Courtney/Comos (airport). We live in a 62 single family home waterfront development on strata. The nearest towns are Qualicum Beach and Bowser (10 minutes away). There is so much to do within 15 minutes of our home. Kayaking/Picnicing on many numerous lakes such as Spider, Horne, or Cameron Lakes. Lots of wonderful hiking/biking trails. Lots of neat small towns to poke around in such as Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Bowser, Coombs (famous for its market and "the Goats on the Roof"). Mt. Washington is about an hour's drive north and has a fabulous ski hill. Also, wonderful snow shoeing and hiking trails. Fishing in one of the many rivers, streams, lake or of course the ocean. Whalewatching, wildlife and bird watching. Oodles of beautiful golf courses; one of which is about a km away from our home. Our beach is rocky, however when the tide is out it is quite sandy and lots of great beachcombing possibilities. We also have a community firepit that you can enjoy and watch the cruise ships go by during the summer. If you're up for about a 3 hour scenic drive, you could head over to the west coast and storm watch in beautiful Tofino. Some of the greatest Canadian surfing (perhaps the only Canadian surfing ;-) We guarantee you won't be bored when you stay at our home.
