Offer:  Home Exchange

Newly renovated, bright and comfortable family home, steps to subway and bus - 15 mins to downtown core.
Our house is located on the edge of the city centre, well within the City of Toronto. It is very comfortable and quiet and has quick and easy bus and/or subway access to downtown (about 15-20 minutes from our door). There are shops nearby as well as Greektown on the Danforth which is only one of our vibrant ethnic neighborhoods (There is also a Chinatown, Little Italy and two fabulous markets). The area known as "The Beaches" (on Lake Ontario) is also easily accesible by subway or car. Access routes out of the city are close by and it would take about 1.5 hours to get to Niagara Falls. Our home is a 2-story, 3-bedroom home fully renovated in 2011. It has beautiful hardwood floors and carpet upstairs. There is a deck and patio in the back yard that is accessed through sliding doors from living room. Great for eating "al fresco" during the summer. Patio set. Fully fiinished basement offers comfortable family room with tv, computer, books, toys etc.

My Home Town

Toronto is a major cosmopolitan city on Lake Ontario with representation from every nation on earth! As a result, there are hundreds of fabulous restaurants to suit every taste and budget. There are many beautiful parks in the downtown core as well as fabulous shopping. The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) are both world class and the McMichael Gallery in Klineberg (just North of the City) is definately worth a visit to see major works by the Group of Seven. They also have an impressive collection of Inuit Art. If you are coming from Europe, UK or USA your euro/pound/dollar will be worth a lot more here! Toronto is also reknown for it's many theatres offering live productions of musicals, plays and comedy. It's easy to escape the hustle and bustle of the city on Centre Island (just a ferry ride away) or at The Beaches in the Eastern end of the city. The subway, buses and streetcars provide excellent transportation. Torontonians are friendly, VERY helpful and used to welcoming the world to our city. There are many festivals and outdoor events during the summer. Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Muskoka are within a 1.5-2 hr drive. Montreal is a little farther away but there are trains leaving every day. To drive to Montreal would take about 6 hours. Toronto is a city that has it all - we love living here and would love for you to come and discover all the amazing things that you can do in one city.
